Two paths

The guest reports. The hotel returns it.

Same four beats, from opposite sides of the desk. Pick the path that matches you.

Guests

From the report to your door

You only need the hotel’s client ID. The desk does the matching. You confirm where the item should go.

  1. 01

    Report your stuff

Open Find my stuff and enter the hotel’s address or 5-digit client ID. Describe the item, the room, and the dates of your stay. Funreturn sends the report to the hotel’s lost-and-found list right away.

  2. 02

    Get an update

Keep the reference from your report. The hotel compares it with items already on the shelf. If yours is found, you get a return link with the category and the date it was found. If it has not turned up yet, the report stays open.

  3. 03

    Confirm your shipping

Open the return link, enter the delivery address, and choose Ground or Express. Payment in this demo is simulated: no card is charged. The hotel is told the slip is ready to print.

  4. 04

    Get your stuff

When the hotel prints the slip, follow the package: label created, pickup scheduled, in transit, delivered. If you are still at the hotel, the desk can hand it to you instead.

Hotels

From the shelf to the slip

Log what housekeeping found, match the guest report, and print. The pickup address is already the hotel.

    Log the inventory

Sign in and add what was left behind: the place, the category, a photo, and where it is stored. Funreturn assigns the control ID. If you already have the guest’s details, prepare their return link from the item.

  2. 02

    Review guest reports

A guest report lands in Reported Lost. Open it and Funreturn suggests found items that share the category, the stay dates, and the words in the description. Match them, then copy the return link. If nothing fits, leave the report open.

  3. 03

    Print the slip

After the guest confirms the address, the item moves to To Print. Print one slip or a batch. The pickup address is already the hotel.

  4. 04

    Ship the package

Printing the slip starts the handoff. Advance the shipment as it moves: pickup scheduled, in transit, delivered. The guest sees the same steps. You can also mark the item picked up at the desk.
